Is it normal to be fbs with an ex?

Ended relationship with ex boyfriend a few weeks ago but still living together. We don't want to be together but financially can't move. Had sex a couple times since the breakup and decided since we still are under the same roof, agreed to just keep it at sex only. Is this normal how awesome this is? I don't have to answer to him and he doesn't with me! Plus, we were great in bed just sucked with everything else.

If it was a meaningless relationship with a clean breakup, for example if you both realized you were better as good friends but the sex was amazing and continuing it would not be awkward I see absolutely no problem.

I guess. Whatever satisfies your libido.

its normal to fall for it the first couple relationships but then you realize you get jealous of her whoring around every night while you jack off and cry

Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

When one of you decides to start seeing other people and you are both still living together feelings will most likely be hurt.

I get what you're saying and that could be a possibility. I just don't see that happening on my end. You have no idea how happy I am right now and if he meets someone else then so be it. The sex will stop and we'll just be roommates til we move separately.

            So you are basically swingers?

No, we aren't swingers. There's no one else we both are having sex with. I just said that if he met someone, dated her, wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with her or even just a sexual relationship with her then our current sexual involvement would be over without hesitation. Or if I met someone, my ex and I would be done that way. Like I said, we'd just be roommates only!

Probably not so much normal, but I'm sure this happens often with couples in a similar situation.

Yes, it is pretty awesome, because now neither of you will make a poor decision due to hormonal influences.

It sounds to me as if there are still plenty of hormonal influences going on if they're still having sex

I think thats normal, but unhealthy by the way. Me and my ex are the same way, the only thing that kept us together for so long was the good sex. Everything else we were totally different ppl. We eventually went our separate ways though.
