Is it normal to be fascinated by homeless people?

I find homeless people fascinating. I wonder how they came to be homeless and if they're old, who they were in their younger years. I'd really like to hear their stories. It's sad but I find victims of society and the system have sometimes lead more interesting lives than the well off people and are a lot more street wise. But then again a lot of the homeless are just not mentally fit for society.

Why not take the time to talk to some of them. I have and it was worth it. All you need to do is buy them a snack or a coffee and sit with him/her for a 1/2 hour. You'll be surprised if you do. The majority
of them are friendly and harmless. Then again, I'm a pretty big guy so I guess some of them would think twice before trying to mess with me.

  • I was homeless from the age of 13 too 18 & it was because according to my mom I needed a job (at 13 -.-) then when I had a job at 15 she wanted me too be in full time education so I did both then I eventually burnt myself out doing 40 hours a week in a shop & the rest of the week studying so I ended up not being able to pay any rent for a flat after I lost my job leaving me out out on the street again and now I'm only just sorted at 20 living with a very sweet old lady (: ... Not the most fascinating homeless story but there yoo go (: x
