Is it normal to be falling in love with a first cousin?

I have just recently began spending a lot of time talking with, texting and hanging out with my cousin. She is younger than I am, and we are both single. The more we talk, the more I'm starting to have feelings for her. And I'm terribly confused and don't know what to do. I know bringing it up could be a huge mistake that could make things incredibly awkward should she not happen to feel the same. This isn't some "Dude, my cousin's I totally wanna do her" kinda thing. I'm literally sick to my stomach infatuated and scared as hell. Should I casually bring it up? Let it go?.. She's all I think about.

You're craving companionship and its normal. Marriage or children might not be in your future, but you can still have a relationship.

Fuck her if you get the chance or you will always regret it.

It's normal to be attracted to someone you have a lot in common with - but honestly, the world is bigger than just your family.

Get out there and find someone else.

@McHexanbaugh Neither of us want kids. And the chances of having a child that is mentally incapacitated is about 2% - 3% higher than that of any other couple. You should research this information before you poke fun.

This is normal. However, when helmet shopping for your kids will you ask for a helmet for your son or your second cousin?
