Is it normal to be extremely obsessed with my body ?

I go to the gym pretty much everyday (about 4-5 times a week). On top of that Im a student. My main problem is that I work my chest and arms out too much and Im not sure if it's normal. Also where do I draw there line between normal and excessive weight training.

It's nice to be balanced with your workout. That way you don't end up with that big neck and shoulder look that's unnatural. Plus you don't want to pull things out of alignment and end up with parts that are too tight. So work with a trainer and try to keep it balanced.

working out on a regular basis is good. about an hour a day is enough, because that's all it takes to burn some calories and gain some muscle.

  • If you want a great-looking chest, your best way of achieving it is to work mostly on your back muscles.

If you have chicken legs, I'd start giving them a lot of attention because it looks bad when guys work on the top, but not the bottom.

4-5 days in a gym is not excessive.
