Is it normal to be extremely cynical, yet also superstitious

I have no belief that God exists and deny the existence of ghosts and spirits, yet in situations where superstition or some sort of supernatural element is supposedly present, I get very nervous and anxious.

I don't believe in anything supernatural at all, but I still wouldn't buy a house that’s supposedly haunted or chant bloody Mary 3 times in front of a mirror.

I will add that while I don’t believe a house can be haunted, I do believe people are willing to go very much too far to make people think a house is haunted, and that is terrifying. People are crazy.

I think it's normal. I mean, I kind of feel the same way because one day, you could be proven that they are real so there is also a reason to kind of be nervous about it. That is just how I think of it anyway.

Yea ghosts can do that sometimes. Your natural phobias can also do it with or without the influence of ghosts.
