I have a friend who's engaged and she's 15. Her mom and dad love him. So idk if it's normal. I personally would do it. Little weird but at least your not alone. Good luck
is that legal? i thought you had to be 17 to be engaged? or is that just to be married? anyway, if you miss him contact him. if he felt strongly enough to propose to you before, then im sure he hasnt lost all feelings for you.
Yuck! That's awful young to be engaged much less actually want to be engaged. When I was 15 normal was hanging out at the mall, going to concerts, shopping with my mom, sleep overs with my girlfriends. Why would you want to throw your life away and grow up so soon when you aren't even old enough to drive a car and you body isn't finished growing yet. Your brain will not be mature until you're approximately 24 years old!
Imagine if you had actually married him; you would have ended up pregnant, a high school dropout without the time or money to better yourself by furthering your education. Is that really what you would have wanted? Your folks did you a favor when they found out. Why do you wanna grow up so soon? You've got your whole life ahead of you! It may sound cliché but it's true.
I don't have any kids but I'm old enough to have a daughter your age and I wouldn't want my girl ruining her life for some spotty little bastard. Any guy who is in a rush to get hitched without thinking of YOUR FUTURE is no good for you!
Love is NOT a feeling. Since you probably haven't discovered that yet, I would say it's good you didn't get married. Most teens get hooked on the feeling. It's powerful, like a drug. But it inevitably ends. Just like a drug.
True love is a choice, an act of the will. Something you purposefully decide to do, AFTER you have fallen out of love.

But - get a REALITY CHECK - why tie up your ENTIRE life when your so young. You havent worked, havent travelled anywhere, havent tried more than one guy.
