Is it normal to be embarrassed by your panties?

I am so self conscious about my panties. I know it's normal to have discharge as a female but it stains my panties and I have a hard time doing laundry because I fear that it won't be discreet enough. The period stains are extra embarrassing. I especially get embarrassed when my fiancé sees them. So.. I usually go weeks without washing my panties. I save unstained ones if I know I will be intimate but in my own time I rewear dirty undies in attempt to keep from staining other ones. I even have a bag dedicated to soiled, unwashed panties that i keep hidden. It's a mess. I feel like I don't know the normal routine of washing panties. And I honestly don't find wearing dirty underwear that gross unless there is an odor. Help? Is it normal?

I had an issue like this in my teen years. My solution. If you are staining your underwear, then you have to wash it more often. I would change my underwear 3 times a day. This will cause less discharge to get in your undies, and for your laundry to pile up more, making you have to do it more often. If you have white underwear, you can bleach it out. Also, if you wear it for the day, then wash it under the tap with luke warm water. This is especially a tip for period mishaps. Period blood will not stain if you clean it out right away. It can't be hot or cold water or the stain will set. Ahh!! Years of being a girl lol

I know someone who wears liners throughout the month to avoid problems like this. She says her underwear doesn't even look like it's been worn.

It's completely cool.. you might want to look into selling your stained panties ( there is a real internet market for that) that should provide enough cash flow for you to purchase new panties to wear/sell.... good luck!

Yes it can be embarrassing having stained panties buts other peoples narrow minds that cause this, we can not always help them from being stained people should except that some women have leakage from there vagina, and there is not always paper to wipe your self when you use public restrooms. I do not mind people knowing my panties get stained.

To add to my earlier comment...I am no longer with that girl largely (though not totally) because of her pee fetish...though I still would love other women to know what her secret was of keeping her panties clean and white (I strongly suspect a special form of washing vs. just keeping them clean)...I think that many other women would love to wear white panties more often...but are afraid of the stains (particularly discharge)...and I don't particularly have a problem having a woman's dirty whites because of discharge...that one, I can understand...

I'm a guy, and I can understand your level of frustration and/or embarrassment/humiliation...I had a girlfriend not so long ago who had a fetish of wearing spotlessly clean white panties (one of the things that I really liked about her...on the other hand, while I also like wearing my underwear spotlessly clean and white...her fetish was for me to pee in my pants...well at least in my underwear)...I suspect it is at least somewhat normal for underwear to be stained unless someone is anal or has lots of money, but it is quite normal for one to want to wear perfectly clean clothes...If I were still with the girl...I would ask her how she keeps hers so clean...I have heard that panty liners can be quite useful, but, as a guy, I wouldn't know that firsthand...

There are medical conditions that cause you to produce to much discharge. If you don't already it is good to visit a gynecologist once a year or whenever you have any questions. They've heard and seen everything so there is no reason to be embarrassed about anything.

It isn't really gross to wear underwear multiple times, i've done it when i had to, BUT there is bacteria in your vagina and it needs to be kept at a healthy level so you don't get any annoying infections.

    Anyway..
Try darker colored undies. They don't show stains as well.
Hand rinse them as soon as they get a wet spot. They wont stain unless it drys. If you're out, Carry some extra pairs in your bag. Along with a zip lock baggy and a stain fighter stick. Just rub it good and put it in the baggy to deal with later.
Or like the others said, panty liners aren't odd to wear whenever. I start wearing them about 4 days before my period so i don't get any surprises.

Cleansing wipes are great as well. They keep you fresh and keep everything in balance. They aren't just for people with infections. I love Summer's Eve brand cleansing cloths. You can get a box of thin little individually wrapped ones that fit anywhere.

    Good luck!

Use panty liners. They're normally used for stuff like that.

And you should consider black. My girlfriend's black panties and thongs don't show any stains. Guys like black. BTW, pre-treat stains with a stain stick or mechanic's hand cleaner.
