theyre all so liberal. theyre ruining this country telling nothing but lies. theyre so biased and they spin the stories to fit their liberal lies! the only news you can trust is fox news rush limbaugh and the colbert report. anything else is just hating on republicans and christians.

It's a wonderful gift we all have to discern the intent of anyone - everyone is a stranger. You made the interpretation that this stranger sincerely believes that the Colbert Report is equatable to Rush Limbaugh and that the OP is trying to have a rational discussion. I made the opposite interpretation. So you can patronize all you'd like, but ultimately we've both made an assumption about a "total stranger living thousands of miles away".
I hate to tell you this, but most of the mainstream media is controlled by Republicans. The truth is, that BOTH Republicans and Democrats are greedy and corrupt. They are both lying to you.
Solution: Ignore them, turn them off where possible, don't watch, read or listen to idiot programming and protest in writing wherever you see corporate greed and bias. (By the way, if you think that Christians are not biased, you are either completely brainwashed, an idiot or a fool.)
I agree with that the media tends to favor the liberal side, but no news station can be trusted, just saying.
I dont watch tv, ive had my flatscreen for two years now and have never even tuned it in... I just use it for games and as a monitor. Its nice not to be brainwashed by all the shite they throw at us.
Does your television have buttons to change the channel or an off switch?

Fox news is the worst out of all of them! I'm going to say normal since I dislike the media's power over our citizens. But I don't agree with your entire opinion.
I watch the Colbert report, but not so much for news but for the comedy. Although I do learn about politics from John Stewart and Stephen Colbert.
