Is it normal to be disappointed when girls don't text me back?

i rarely text people and when I text someone, I expect to get a text back. so I start a text with asking something but when I don't get anything back I get disappointed. for once or twice is find but not getting a text back from a girl three in a row makes me disappointed and not want to text her anymore. I lose confidence when I see three texts on right side and nothing on left side. I believe she could be busy, but I think not texting back so many times is just rude and I feel like she doesn't want to talk to me. is this just me?

    I knew this one chick. She was totally cool with me. We were cool in college. She never got mad w/me and I remember when I made her cry of laughter. But ya the thing is she got a bf. I know she will try to avoid me. I text her she text back. But as time passed she changed. She did not reply back my messages anymore. I don't know I lost her. I never text her back again. It was rude because I asked her questions and she didn't respond. Ya I was why is she acting weird? Well I just cared less of even texting her. But ya it sucks when it happens. You just got to move on. I was miserable but then ya I changed. Maybe I should text her again someday I don't know.

    I use to feel that way with guys, but now I don't care so much anymore. I've learned to accept that no body loves me :(

    Aww how sweet. Yea I get what you mean. I always try to text back so I don't seem rude. Lol. I apologize for my gender. We tend to be total bitches sometimes. Lol if they don't text back then they don't deserve your texts ;)

    I know it's frustrating not to get texts back but a lot of my friends (guys and girls) don't even like getting lots of texts from the same person. They would rather that person call, maybe that is the case with the girls you text. Just an idea, hope it helps!

    This is beyond normal. Whenever I get a slow reply, I reply slowly so it looks like I'm just as busy them. If they don't reply then I boldly ask them why they're not responding. Although I have been told that I should stop doing that.

    I hate it when they take some time to reply back because when I send a message I expect them to reply back instantly! But anyway, I don't even text though.

      Texts aren't meant to be urgent! As it's considered rude to reply to texts when you're with other people, your friends must think you have no life and always sit alone in your bedroom.

      In reply to the poster - these girls are just plain rude. Develop the attitude YOUR LOSS!!

        I was not being (completely) serious. I have probably only ever sent less than 20 texts before. I agree, it is rude to text while with other people, but that doesn't stop people from doing it though.
