Is it normal to be constantly itchy every day?

Almost without exception, I have an itch somewhere. For example, right now my chin itches - so I just scratched it. But now my right shoulder itches. I scratch that, but now my chin and my lower right shin are both itching. I scratched both of them, but notice that the right side of my scalp has a particularly stingy itch. I scratch that, but my forehead and chin both itch. I scratch those, but the back of my neck starts itching. I scratch that, but my right knee and lower back start itching. And so on and so forth.

This is what my body is like. Most of the time I just semi-consciously scratch while doing other tasks - the itching isn't so bad that I can't function. Sometimes it can get quite annoying, though. For reference, I shower once or twice every day, am a fairly hygenic person, live in a clean environment.

It's the same for me, too -- I always have a low level of nonspecific itchiness. I know *some* amount is normal, but I find myself wondering if my skin is more sensitive, or if other people more disciplined about scratching and not letting random itches bother them. It's worse at night, but I think that's because I'm paying more attention to it.
It's not dry skin or allergies (I have those sometimes, and they cause specific itching in specific places as expected), and it's not anxiety (I've had that and it makes me more fidgety but not more "itchy"). It's just a baseline level of itch that has always been there.

I always itch too, and it's really bad in the shower. My skin gets dry easy, but I moisturize and I don't know why it keeps itching so much!

I have the same problem glad to hear that I'm not alone :) I'm always itchy! Have been my entire life. Unfortunately even washing myself and scrubbing my body everywhere doesn't get rid of the problem because I still get itchy during and after. I tried using Pine tarsol as an alternative to soap since it helps with itching but not even that works.
It's not dry skin as I exfoliate all the time and moisturize and it's not stress. I haven't got a clue what's causing it. I just wish that it would go away
