Is it normal to be completely unphased by death?

I can look at things and be completely unphased by things that would make others flip out and have nightmares for years, for example necrophilia, gore, middle eastern executions, suicides, etc. I don't feel an interest towards these things I just dont mind looking at it and I'm completely untouched by everything. If I saw roadkill with his guts hanging out I wouldn't care. I think death is completely natural and see nothing wrong with murder I see it as a tool to keep the population down. Imagine earth without death or murder for a minute, it'd be hectic, right? I see suicide normal also. We need suicide helpers, not suicide hinderers. That's like a doctor saying a man with a broken leg is going to be OK and doesn't do anything about it. I'm not some murderer by the way, it's just something I'm like. I'm also not afraid to die.

  • I think some of this is normal, as in common, but some is not.
It seems pretty normal to be unfazed by these things because horrible things are unavoidable and have to be dealt with in some way, whether it's flipping out about it or not reacting at all.

What doesn't seem normal is supporting people to die early. I do think murder is once in a while necessary, but not usually. The thing is though that everyone will eventually die no matter what. There's no hurry.

I am wondering if you are the same OP that often posts about overpopulation. I see where that could become a problem, but currently there aren't being born anymore people than that are dying. The ratio is pretty even.
Yes, humans tend to be irritating at times, but if they bother you just look at life as a joke and it becomes more enjoyable. You should try to focus on positive things more and you will feel better about life.

So I think it is normal to be unphased by death, as it is inevitable, but not normal to wish it on those who aren't ready for it.

what we don't need is hinderers of humanity. i do think the increase in population is a problem and has been making life on earth chaotic. death us certainly normal but condoning and encouraging murder and suicide is totally uncool. imagining life without murder is one thing, life without death is another. not only is it out of the realm of possibility but makes me wonder what your point is besides being unimpressed by something that happens all the time to all of us

It's easy to become desensitized to violence, death and gore, especially with easy access to it on the Internet, and the fact that death is an inevitable part of everyone's life. But it's not normal or even remotely okay to wish death on other people.
