I'm 19 and a virgin and sometimes it really makes me feel weird. I'm at uni and, as to be expected, a lot of stories/things that pop up in conversation/drinking games are about sex and relationships and I can't get involved. I've been very open about being a virgin/never being in a relationship and have had loads of different responses. While some people don't seem to be phased by this others say 'REALLY?!' as if I'm some kind of freak and I wanted to know what the general opinion is.

    Im 19 and have no intention to 'ave sex yet. I am waiting to be in a serious relationship first with someone I love and can trust. For me its very emotional and I cant just go around having sex willy-nilly. People talk about sex like its just a thing, but to me its something special that two people do when they really love eachother.

    Majority doesn't determine truth. Don't let society dictate to you what to believe.

    And no it's not weird to be a virgin at 19. Nor is it something to be ashamed of.

    20, still virgin, I know the problem. Just becuase Im a guy people always respond wiht: What/! Really?! So you and I are a bit unlucky on that part, it will come eventually. My hope is people like Hugh Hefner and those guys, they lost their virginity in their twenties, and they became close to sex-gods. Keep that in mind ;)

    You shouldn't be expected to have sex before a certain age anyway and you shouldn't care what people think. It's no big deal being a virgin.

    It's ok to be a virgin at 19 there is no age that determines when you suold and shouldn't be a virgin.
