I stayed up for about that length of time over the weekend. How tired I felt still depended my body clock; during the day when I'd usually be awake I felt like I'd feel any other day despite the fact I'd been awake for 24 hours longer than normal, but when it got to bedtime I crashed much harder than normal from the weight of an extra day without sleep.
Do you suffer from insomnia? I have stayed up for a day and I could not sleep after that. It's not healthy, I can tell you that.
I think nearly around just under 60 hours. I was on a plane, and there was this asshole beside me, and whenever I tried to sleep, this annoying little shit kept on kicking my backseat, and when I kindly asked him to stop, he spat in my face, and I when I confronted his mother, she thought that I was threatening her kid, and called security!
I think the longest I've been awake has been around 10+ hours. It's bit odd, but I only seem to get rejuvenating insomnia when I'm in cities. I could stay up for god knows how long, if I were given the chance, and I'd wake up fully refreshed filled with energy. I remember being in NYC about 2 or 3 years ago. One day, I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning and I had to get up around 6am. It resulted in me getting 3 or 4 hours of sleep and I woke up feeling awesome:D
Beat'cha! 72 hours after a bet with that guy who worked at the RELENTLESS energy promotional stand. I got free energy drinks and i did not sleep for 3 days. And i felt great all days long...
i have been awake for 72 hours ...
and i pull allnithers regulary ..
i usualy stay up for 36 hours and then go to sleep ...
i dont find it wrong but just unusual from the perspective of society
If I'm up for 20 hours, i start feeling miserable. I hitmy second wind at around 27 hours. And am miserable again at around 36 hours.( longest I've stayed up.) No insomnia.
Normal? No
To answer your question, Friday morning until Sunday at 6 so 58 hours or so.
And yes, insomnia.
When I'm in a moving vehicle of any kind (Automobile / Truck / Bus, Train, Airplane), I am unable to sleep for usually 3 to 3 1/2 days.
As a person ages, people usually sleep less.
There are some people (which is very rare), who reportedly do not 'sleep' at all, but only rest periodically.
Well I have delayed sleep phase syndrome so often I do an all nighter thinking that it'll allow me to get to sleep early the next night but I often can't sleep the next day. I think the longest i've been awake was just over 2 days. 2 days awake and I fell asleep around 10 half 10 on the 3rd day
But your missing out on your body releasing large amounts of GH during rem sleep, thinks about all those gains you are losing out on.
