Is it normal to be attracted to your cousin?

I have a distant cousin, somewhere down the 4th or 5th line of cousins. I met my cousin about 10 years ago and have hardly communicated with him but when he does come to town I always make it possible to see him. The last two visit have been a bit strange as he is very attractive. On the last visit we hung out and something sparked, something odd a chemical reaction. I don't know if alcohol had much to do with it but I don't think I should feel like this. I don't know if he felt anything but this odd feeling has been instilled in me since that night. He has gone back home about a wk now and I have contact him to just say hi and as the conversation proceeds I find out he has been separated with his wife for a few months, mind you we are both married and have kids. See thing is I feel the oddest energy over the communication more like an insane feel of attraction and I don't know if he feels the same at all. I don't know what to do because it kind of weird being cousins but I cant get him out of my mind. Please advise!

    Im surprised you haven't explored finding out if he needs company after the divorce of his wife yet? Depending on the time and day he would ask you to stop by is a dead give away.....

      he has asked me to visit him, which i may add is in another state. we have now beenin communitacation everyday nonstop for over two months; from gm to gn. our conversations are pretty deep but never too much about us as in not asking out loud are we attrated to one another. the only quesiton he asked once was if my husband knew that were spoke so much, my reponce was he doent know everytime i text. I dont know it so odd that we would connect the way we do its like we are in this bubble. should i leave things as is or should i hit the next level and be more forward about the feeling that are?

    4Th or 5th cousin, that's far enough if he feels the same way go for it. Just either come out and say or turn on your charms and see where it goes.

      Just go for it, im so timid but i know we feel the same as the energy and chemistry is unbelieveable. he has invited me to go see him and that didnt fall throught however i will be flying out for a family event whihc he will be at. I think if we are alone charms is so innocent as to what may.
