Is it normal to be attracted to someone who isn't "good looking"?

There's this guy I have in one of my classes. We've only spoken about twice and we have different social circles. He's honestly really not that good looking, but I can't help but be drawn to him - like the way he moves and the way he talks. I don't know him well enough to judge his personality, but he seems like an okay guy. IIN?

    A person doesn't have to be good looking for you to like them. What is good looking anyways? Everyone has their own opinions about looks. Don't let society and advertising get to you. Go out there and like whoever the hell you want!

    It is good that you are attracted to this person regardless of his looks. That shows that you are not a shallow person.

      Except they've only spoken twice and she doesn't know his personality, so it sounds like it's just a different kind of shallow.

      Not to mention, the fact that he isn't "good looking" seems to really bother her.

          I do think it's a better type of shallowness though. It's good to be able to see beyond just looks, even if you're only going as far as body language and voice. Maybe one day she'll learn to take personality into account! :D

      I agree, attraction is way more than looks.. Body language is a huge contributor.
