Is it normal to be attracted to someone over text but not in person?

I have a close guy friend and I was his first kiss last summer and since then he always acts like he likes me and he always gets me alone. We always have romantic moments but I'm just plain not interested. Is it normal to be attracted to his personality but not him physically at all?
How do I make it clear I just want to be friends?

That's exactly how my relationship with my last ex girlfriend was. We'd be great over the phone but in person... no spark. Not only that I wasn't attracted to her (sexually) in the least and all she wanted to do was tear my clothes off...

it's easy, just be honest with him. he'll understand.

The experience of liking someone's personality but not being physically attracted to them is a well known phenomenon among people who meet up with people they know online. It is normal.

Simply be honest with him. Tell him that his friendship means a lot to you and that you want it to stay that way. Also, don't lead him on. Kissing/romantic moments need to stop.
