It's not normal to be attracted to bullies, but it's probably very common amongst people who are from dysfunctional families with abusive, and or neglectful parents. Many people are attracted to what is familiar to them rather than what is good for them.

Unfortunately, it's nature trying to get you to mate with those who appear strong so you'll make strong children. It's instinctual. However, our lesson to learn is to not confuse aggression with confidence. Confident men don't need to bully others to feel strong, and are secure with themselves. Bullies make a show out of their aggression on the helpless in hopes to entertain others and feel important (basically, they are weak, but want to feel and be seen as strong).

It's not surprising why you're attracted, because a bullies' actions can be seen/heard constantly and you don't know better. You'll be surprise that almost every girl you'll ever meet has fallen for the bad boy due to their boldness and lack of concern for consequences. Confident/stable men don't need to show off their strength, but only display it when necessary, which is hard for us ladies because we tend to notice confident men when it's too late.

I STRONGLY urge you to seek therapy. If you don't root out the cause of your attraction towards people that are abusive, you will end up in a relationship where you are abused. Bullies don't just "turn off" their need to belittle & control other people when in a romantic relationship.

It seems a lot of girls and women like and marry bullies. Even ones that bully them. I think they have low self esteem and should really stay away fron the bully. Find soimeone nice who treats you well and builds your self esteem up.
