I'm female and 18 years old, and he is my former psychology teacher, 27 years old. He is no longer a teacher at the high school that I attend.
We are both attracted to each other and talk often, we have meaningful conversations and I know he genuinely cares for me, isn't trying to take advantage of me.
Is this relationship normal?
She was a girl, he was a boy, can I make it any more obvious?

He was sent to prison for banging a student,
They kept in contact though,

What, you think teachers are some other species? Or like celibate monks? Of course it's normal you're both attracted to each other, dummy. Luckily, since he's no longer your teacher, there's no issue for you being together. Just don't throw anything away to stay with him (like the opportunity to go to a good college that might require you to move away), because it's not worth it.
He just wants to beat those buns. A 27 year old male has nothing in common with an 18 year old girl. You will have lots of these crushes, lots of lovers and you will look back at this when your 25 and laugh really hard.
its possible she may be very mature despite her age. Im 21, yet i have more in common with people in their 30s than with people my own age. I even had a crush on one of my teachers when i was in high school she was 24, i was 18, and we had a lot in common, but i knew it couldent happen cause i was still in school.
