girls like you make me sick. speaking as a nice guy who never got the girls i loved because they never noticed me because i was their friend and nice, only to watch them go out with jerks while i thought all alone about treating them right and spending money on them while the assholes got to fuck them.

I think it's normal, but that doesn't mean it is. But it's a well-known stereotype for women: to always fall in love with the assholes, the same way men always fall for the skanks.

I'm in the EXACT SAME SITUATION! I feel so frustrated yet excited at the same time. I was in your current situation for a few months, then kissed him at this party. But my excitement died out when I realised it hadn't changed anything. Back at school the next week, he was just his usual self: aloof, effortless, selective about when to talk, bit up himself, ignorant etc.
