Is it normal to be attracted to a friend when they've "come out"?

my best friend recently came out recently and for some reason i'm starting to think i'm attractive to him? when he talks about other guys hes been with i feel mad for some reason i dont know why. he's also been a lot more affectionate (not too affectionate, he just hugs people more and flirts with the guys as a joke) and idk i sort of like it which is reaaaaally weird to type. but yeah im not sure what this means, maybe it's just because he's come out as gay and its playing on my mind or something? idk.

    Like I just answered to a similar question, I think it's fine to be attracted to any person. Any sexuality is normal as long as it's expressed in a healthy way that doesn't harm you or others.
