Is it normal to be attracted in girls who are 15, and i am 17.

i dated a girl who was just turned 15 a month or 2 ago and it seems that a majority of girls i am attracted to are 2 years younger, sometimes 3 (an old 14) some of my frineds say its not normal but some of them are a but uptight about whats acceptable.
My gf at the moment is 16 but i almost went out with someone else who had just turned 15.
Any advice in the comments would help

You are really stressing out over nothing. 2 years is absolutely fine. Granted, it is more significant now than it will be when you are 30 and the girl 28, but still, chillax...you're doing good!

It's normal until you become a legal adult. That's when you have to be careful.

It's totally acceptable, but it's only because everyone's still in school that age difference is a big deal since rather than age, people usually stay fixed on grade level and it totally has power to alter the context. Like "I'm seventeen, she's fifteen!" doesn't sound all that bad to me, but if someone says "I'm in tenth grade and she's a seventh grader!" then I might need to think about it for a bit

Also for your question when you hit 18 it will be a problem. My friend's cousin went to jail for being 19 and dating a 15 year old.

It all depends on your local laws.

Some states allow for relationships that cross the minor/major age line, if there's only a year or two difference.

You should consider reviewing your state laws, and just to cover your butt make sure you also have permission from her parents/guardians to date her.

Keep in mind though... after you're both over 18 you won't have to worry about a 2 year age difference.

        ya each region is different.

so where the OP is will have an influence on what is and isn't legal

    I'm 18, dating a 15 year old.

The only thing that is really bad is people judging us for it.

It's fine dude. Even when you become 18 there can still be up to a 4 year age difference I think. Just don't take advantage of them. It's only a bad thing if you turn it into a bad thing.

As you get older difference in age starts to mean less. No one bats an eye at a couple with 10 years apart when they are in there 40ies and 50ies.

Well there a lot of relationships that have an age difference, doesn't mean it's a bad thing. As long as you two are mature enough to want the relationship to last I think age doesn't matter.
