Is it normal to be attraced to a cousin's cousin?

Ok, this one's kinda odd...
So I'm visiting my family in California this summer and I've "re-met" a girl I first met when I was like seven and haven't seen in years. When we were little, we were atracted to each other, and our parents still joke about it. I have started to developed an attraction again, but there's one slight problem, she is my cousin's first cousin.this was no problem when we were little, because it wasn't serious, now it just feels wrong. My cousin is my first cousin on my mom's side, his dad's side, and the girl I'm attracted to is is first cousin on his mom's side. We have no blood relation to each other, but I can't help but feel that its going to be weird being together, seeing that most0 of my family considers her family. This presents a problem because its almost like being with your cousin. I know she isn't, and I really want to be with her,but I can't help but feel wrong about it.is this normal?

    I've finally understood what you're saying and it would be a bit weird but it is legal.

    I get what you're saying. It's really up to you, you're not related by blood. My mum's uncle's wife's second cousin is my dad ^_^

    That is the most screwed up description I've ever read and cannot decipher it. " his dad's side, and the girl I'm attracted to is is first cousin on his mom's side. " WTF??

      sorry, that was confusing... what is was trying to say was, the girl is my first cousin's cousin.... Her mom is my cousin's mom's sister, and my cousin's dad is my mom's brother...

    Same thing happened to me but then he grew a mustache and long hair so the attraction was gone lol so then I knew it wasn't serious to the point of love.But yes it is normal after all you cant choose who you fall for or in this case attracted to,so good luck!^.^
