Is it normal to be at my most comfortable when people are touching me?

I never feel more comfortable than when i've got some form of bodily contact with someone else, even if it's just sat close so our knees are touching or something. Is this normal? Even if it isn't, i'm not that fussed, not like i'll stop :P

Not a sex addiction! I call 'touchy-feely' growing up, it was normal. Now, away from home (really, really far from home), it is not normal. Weird. but at least I can go back to my home state once in a while and feel 'normal' again.

I wonder if your parent/guardian picked you up or held you often whenever you were an infant/toddler/child. Maybe during your early years of life, this was the method used to calm u whenever u were angry, agitated or distressed and so physical contact is just what you're used to. I'm the exact opposite - I do not like physical contact (unless it involves sex.) My mom told me that as an infant, I would become restless and fussy whenever someone held me for long periods of time. You should ask your parent or guardian, if u can.

  • It's normal, if you're a girl it means you are/will be 'easy'. Nothing wrong with that, of course.

Sorry I'm not sure but I think it's a type of sex addiction. Google it.
