Is it normal to be annoyed by people who judge others?

I get seriously annoyed by people who think they know everything and tend to try and insult others and/or judge them based only on a few facts. Their is always two sides to every story. Lately it has been getting on my nerves a lot more. I'm not saying that I haven't caught myself doing it to but I just cannot seem to understand why people cannot see others struggles and try to help them overcome them. Obviously if someone is asking for advice or trying to reach out in someway for help they do not need to hear a bunch of insults and word vomit coming out of someone elses mouth. What ever happened to helping people? It's funny because everyone is so quick to judge someone else yet they are the one's with the most skeleton's in their closets. So what makes that person think that they have any room to judge anyone?
I like this web-site because you can help someone with a serious issue or a not so serious issue. But lately I see a lot of negative, stupid ass comments on here. Is everyone on here ignorant or under the age of 12? I'm not sure but reading some of these comments it makes a person wonder.

I apologise if I have hurt you or anyone else on this website or elsewhere.
I think that it is human nature to judge others.
I am always open to intelligent and informed debate.
Only the majority of informed people can decide which view is more correct.

Some users on this site have made an incorrect conclusion that I think I know everything. I have always refuted this. I do not. I have barely scratched the surface, so to speak, of Universal knowledge.
It is unfortunate that some persons refuse to learn, stay ignorant, and then accuse others of knowing too much. This should not be taken in the sense that they need to learn what I know, but that they should at least become knowledgeable in one or more fields of study that interest them. I do not want at any time to put anyone down, so to speak, but a few might have (mis)interpreted it that way. If nothing else, please learn somewhat proper discussion and debate principals. Arguing is fine, as it can sometimes uncover hidden truths, but nonsensical arguments without tact can often lead to bitter feelings and division, and are quite simply a waste of time. I apologise to any persons who might see this, and feel that I am lecturing them. I do not intend it in that way. The choice is yours, and yours alone. Please take this as advice only. You are in no way obligated to take this advice.

    • No it's not impossible. Nothing is impossible. I'm simply saying some of the posts I've seen on here are pretty serious, people that are reaching out for help, then in the comments I see some pretty shitty comments being posted that don't even help at all. It doesn't make sense to me.
Maybe I'm retarded or something but I'd rather help someone and recognize their strengths and things they have overcome rather than criticize them for mistakes they have made in their pasts.

  • Judgment is unavoidable, my young apprentice. I'm judging you right now as are you towards me.

To be in defiance of judgment you must judge it to be an unworthy idea.

  • I only insult others because it gives me a boner, not because I judge them.

I have never met a person who ment enough to judge.

I'm going to make a judgement right now. Use punctuation. Without it your block of text is a chore to read. Also remember, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." By the way I may have made punctuation errors. But it doesn't annoy me if I get judged because I'm uncertain if I did.

I humbly disagree with your near quotation from Mathew 7:1 (KJV) " Judge not, that ye be not judged."
This might have been appropriate in a feudal society, but our civilisation has advanced and has been transformed radically by technology.
Society needs judges, and more than in the fields of criminal and civil law, but in almost every aspect of daily life.
By adhering to the aforementioned citation, one places themselves into perpetual servitude, by an ever more detached and powerful elite, who act as judges.
It is now to the point where most citizens have very little trust in this elite group.
Liberal laws do little but deprive us of our freedom, and protect criminals.
It has now come to the point where the only ones we can trust are ourselves. We have the technology available to us, and a fairly knowledgeable citizenry. With a small amount of improvisation, there is no reason why, in today's society, that we could not all act as judges, which should be the fairest of all. It would also have the increased benefit of being far faster and far more cost-effective than the institutions we have now.
It would not be like we would have to run to our computers constantly, to make judgements on everything (as most of these would be relegated to others), but many things would be integrated into things we already do.

I, too, am annoyed at such people. Although it is completely true that it is human nature to judge, that doesn't make it good! natural =/= good! I always try to recognize where I'm judging irrationally and to act more objectively with that in mind.

Yeah, it's pretty normal. I admit, I can be very judgmental and I apologize if I have done this to anyone. It is seen as an insult but it is merely my interpretation and I usually do not sincerely feel negatively toward others.

We all do this to an extent, it sucks but it is one of those areas of human nature that are very difficult to overcome.
