Is it normal to be annoyed by people rubbing their hands together?

So I can't stand it when people rub their hands together. the dry sound just makes me cringe and get physically angry and kinda violent. I can't rub my hands together either, the friction and heat and stuff is so uncomfortable and awful and annoying. If the person has something like soap and water on their hands or something its okay though, so yes i do wash my hands. is that normal?

    Oh my lord, I thought I was the only person! This sound is the worst, especially when sand, flour, or chalk is involved. Fabrics as well. Apparently there is treatment for Misophonia (this disorder). I am sorry for your pain but just can't believe another person feels this!

    Your weird. Your the kind that gets really mad when people do normal things. Just bc your an angry person looking for Anything you can to flip your lid about. Find a better way to handle your anger. Lol

      I dont think he means like he'll go up to them and be an asshole about it. I say this because I also find the feeling/thought disturbing on an almost primal level. It just gives me shivers but its not something I can control

    It‘s actually called misophonia. Hating specific sounds and you can‘t control your reaction to it. I also can‘t stand the sound of two dry hands rubbing against each other. Getting that discomfort feeling even by writing this.
    Most common hated sounds are chewing, snoring, chalk scraping a blackboard.. It’s being researched at the moment. It’s known to be developed in late child hood-early adult hood.
