Is it normal to be annoyed by girls who say "i'm such a guy"?

I get it. I don't have many girlfriends either (only one to be exact)and i have sexual morals that are on par with Samantha from Sex and the City. But it really annoys me when girls say "i think like a guy" "i act like a guy" "i don't get along with girls" etc... in a boastful, arrogant manner as if this makes them superior to feminine girls or more date-able. does this bother anyone else?

I fucking hate it when women act like that.
Woo hoo, you don't like drama and you 'act like a guy'
That doesn't make you cool or appealing or anything. Most of the women who do say things like that are actually the drama starters to begin with. It's such gender generalizing bullshit.

Yeah, that is sorta annoying... It's like "what, do you want a medal or something?" XD
It's especially embarrassing because I used to act like that when I was a tween! Blarg... Male chauvinism isn't cute at all, even when it's done by women.

No. I have never had GFs and I am a girl.
I have male Like tendencies. I am comfortable with who I am. I don't like hanging with women because of this very post.
Complaining, whining and hating... It's just too much. Men are more easy going and they don't judge x

    • based on your reply i'm probably not saying it's females like yourself that annoy me. it's when a person acts arrogant in this manner, as if being this way made them superior to other females and they automatically shut down other girls. i am very feminine but i've been told by guys i have a "dick-like mentality" and they say this is why i've only been in successful relationships and guys love to be around me and what-not. but i don't go around boasting "i'm such a dude, girls annoy me, they're such whiners and haters....". and hate to break it to you but saying "i don't like hanging with women because of this very post..." is also complaining and hating on a certain opinion. i wasn't trying to attack anyone i'm sure you're a nice person but hey, men complain and whine too (i should know i'm surrounded by them 24/7) just not as much as girls.

      • What about when males are nice caring people and that side of them gets called a mans "feminine" side, to imply that it's feminine behavior to be caring when it's not a man's "feminine" side, it's their caring side?

        • I think that's one of those unfortunate stereotypes in our society (If a man is caring or sympathetic it makes him "weaker" or more "girly"). It's ridiculous! I don't think being sympathetic, nice, and caring should be traits that are associated with a specific gender since we all have the ability to be these things, just like we all have the ability to be rude and mean.

Dude me and you would definitely click. I loveee men and women can be way too catty for me. I can walk around with my hair messed up and sweats on all day. Everyone used to ask if I was gay or did I want to be a boy, but I am comfortable. I'm not ugly, its not like I can't get a guy. Anyways there's nothing wrong with you girls are just way too into what others think or what the hottest trend is. They grow up and turn into little whores. Thats life.

    Meh..
Hating on a hater. Nothing wrong with that.
I am sure you are a nice person too. I just think women find more things to complain about and forget to enjoy the simple things in life.
Maybe I don't understand fully what you are implying...
    Anyway, best of luck.
