Is it normal to be annoyed by almost everyone?

This might as well have been written by myself! I hate smalltalk, don´t approach me if you wish to just make a shallow conversation about how i feel (As if you even care, jerkface) or how you feel (I honestly don´t give a damn) I`m not asocial, im not social. I´m SELECTIVLY social. I talk if i want too.

I know a few people that are like this. It's not totally normal but some people just don't like to socialize.

I wish I was this way. Whenever I am out in public long enough, I end up in a conversation with someone, whether it be a friend or random stranger. I have had to stop trying to study at the mall. Last time I was studying at a restaurant in the mall and I saw an old lady wandering around alone and invited her to my table, and then I ended up hanging out with a woman and her child for an hour.

I didn't get any reading done. I wish I was more anti-social sometimes.

Totally normal, most people are morons that shouldn't be allowed out in public. Invest in a huge pair of noise-reducing headphones, crank up the music and ignore everyone unless YOU want to speak to them.

Yes, very normal. I've very similar to you. I am sort of a serious person. I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and I can even be silly or nonsensical if I feel comfortable being that way, but I tend to be more low key and most people around me are just way too random, loud or obnoxious for me with extremely annoying senses of humor. I talk a lot and I don't mind talking with people but a lot of the things people talk about also annoy me. I used to wonder if something was wrong with me because I feel out of place, bored, annoyed or empty around most people and everyone else around me seems to be so at home with other people and are bored when they're by themselves. You just sound like an introvert who feels intimidated by society's favor of extroversion and the fact that our population has more extroverts than introverts. Nothing's wrong with you. Just be yourself, as corny as that sounds lol.

I think that "almost" is what's keeping you normal. I find the majority of people to be annoying but also admit there are a few fellow men who are great to be around, in adequate proportions... Hm, perhaps I should reflect on myself before giving advice on this one :p
