Is it normal to be annoyed at my copycat sister in law?

basically, long story short...my sister in law is 5 years older than me. we get on quite well, and have known her five years now and for the majority of that, she's been very much a typical girly girl. the last few months, she's gradually become more and more like me. she literally copies everything i buy, wear, things i say, and things i like. style is one thing, but i draw the line at copying my personality. she's pretty normal, and im a bit weird to be honest, so i can't see why she's doing it :p is it normal to be so wound up about this?!

    So, let me get this straight. This girl is married to your brother? Were/are you and your brother close?
    Perhaps he has mentioned to his wife how he thinks you have good taste/style in clothes and she wishes to please him, because maybe she doesn't?
    I won't go into deeper issues of sibling relationships, but there could be some of that going on too.
    For now, take it as flattery.

    I think its quite normal for siblings to copy themselves to an extent. I definately had my fair share of copycat siblings.

    Best part is, when they copy you and time passes, they have the audacity to tell You that your the copycat. That always cracks me up...O_O

    lost maybe. she's not the little lost woman type though. she's a loud mouth and i know she doesn't genuinely like me. she's very much one of those self righteous women. should i attempt to bring it up with her? :/ think i might give the fart pissing a miss though...thanks anyway ;)

    thank you all.
    she's my husbands sister. she's only been like this since she's been with her new boyfriend :/ i guess it shouldn't wind me up really. im kind of flattered...but acting just like me and copying every aspect of my personality is just so weird to me.
