Is it normal to be afriad to use the shower if other people are home?

I know it probably sounds really weird (even to myself, but I can't help it) however I have this weird thing where if my roommates or someone is home I'm afraid to leave my room. Even if I just have to go to the bathroom, I won't leave my room unless I think no one's at least on that floor.

I really want to take a shower, but I just can't get myself to go upstairs if someone is home. I don't really know why...
It's not that my roommates are bad people or that I dislike them, it's just a weird anti-social thing I have with myself.

    Watch Psycho, and then you won't be able to shower when people AREN'T home.

    I'm afraid to use it if other people arent home because Im afraid of being raped

    I have this same exact problem. It's directly related to my anxiety disorder.

    One if two things: opinion only here: Anxiety disorder that can be treated or some something likely post-traumatic....
