Is it normal to be afraid to tellmy boyfriend that i amhiv positive?

I was feeling a bit different for a while and couldnt figure it out. I visited the doctor several times and they couldnt figure it out either. I went for my yearly checkup with my GYNO and asked for a disease test. The results were HIV positive. My boyfriend and I havent really been active for a while now. When me and my boyfriend started practicing abstinence i was feeling a bit lonely. I went crazy one night and couldnt remember what happened the next morning. How should i bring this horrible news up too my boyfriend of 6 years? Helpp ?

8Serene8 don't you think that is a bit harsh?
Yea, being a whore is whorish and this person MAY be leaving out some details about that night, but she doesn't DESERVE it. No one does.

Why were you practicing abstinence if you've been together for 6 years

It's also illegal to be infected and have unprotected sex without the other person knowing. Check out the recent court cases on this subject.

It's normal to be afraid of telling him but you have to and there's no easy way of doing it. He could take it well or he could not so be prepared. Give him space and time to think about it because this is a very serious situation. Also, he needs to get tested as well.

The fact you supposedly couldn't remember what happened some drunken night is a load of bs. Everyone remembers what they do even if it's small parts of the night. You sound like a cheating slut that's just trying to sound like a victim.

Long story short, you got what you deserved for cheating rather than breaking it off with him if you were that unhappy. Tell him so that the poor guy can get tested.
