Is it normal to be afraid to live alone?

I just bought a house and live alone. It totally freaks me out living alone. Between a possible ghost encounter, possible burglary, or seeing a spider. All scenarios that freak me out and comes with living alone. Is it normal to be freaked out?

    We all have to grow up sometime... Learn to be independent, that's the key to life. If
    You can't live alone...how can you live with other people? It's gratifying to know you can be by yourself.
    Stay safe- lock your doors...keep your phone charged.
    Maybe get a dog? My dog keeps me company. I lived fine on my own before her...but i can't imagine how. She makes me feel safe.

    Get some cans of expanding foam and fill all the rooms in the house with foam, that way the boogieman, ghosts, and zombies won't be able to get you. Oh, and get yourself some garlic for all the glitter boys that want your blood. Don't forget to stock up on beer and an inflatable girl, you still need a social life bro. Good luck
