Is it normal to be afraid to check your own pulse?

It makes me feel nauseous. Sometimes I faint. I just can't stop thinking that I'm touching these pulsing tubes underneath my skin, and then I.....

  • in general i don't, but sometimes you have to. like...in certain science labs at school. or even getting your blood pressure checked at the doctor - when the thing gets really tight and you feel that pulsing in your arm o_O same thing
