I think when we find ourselves scared as children we associate it with someone or something else nearby because we're not yet skilled enough at handling our fears. For this very reason, things we associate with childhood become adult phobias. Things like puppets, clowns, etc.
Yeah. I used to have a ton of nightmares about puppets. I won't go on but that's why I dislike them for the most part
yeah any kind of doll creeps me out big time! Honestly I wouldn't want to be comfortable around them if I could. That's when they'd get me, when I let my guard down.
