Is it normal to be afraid of paintball and bebe guns?

Ok well I go to my friends house like every week and I am so afraid when he takes out the bebe gun or the paintball gun. It's not loaded or have any co2 but I am still afraid. I have seen and held some in the past and was never afraid and I was 5 then. But I am terrified now. IIN?

    It scares me just to be in a room with someone holding one because I know of people who have actually shot one on accident

    it might be fear of guns...are you ok if its not pointed at you??? growing up seeing a lot of war movies or movies involving guns might have created a fear in you... its normal as long as the fear is not ruining your daily life...means its just a fear and not a phobia yet...

    No I was never hit when I was little but I have seen ppl get hit and it doesn't look pleasant .... And we don't even play with them we just hold them and I seem to feel like crying and running away

    Well... it hurts to get shot by one.

    Unless you're worried your friend might shoot you then there's no reason to be afraid. Has anyone shot you before with one, maybe when you were young?
