Is it normal to be afraid of never finding a girl to marry?

I am extremely shy and it's contributed to by social anxiety. I have had one serious relationship early in high school. I still haven't kissed a girl though. I've been single for 2 1/2 years and I'm fixing to go to college. I'm afraid I'll never be confident enough to establish a romantic relationship with a girl. Basically, I'm afraid I'll be a bachelor forever. Oh, and to make matters worse, my college is only about 15% female.

    It's really funny cause so many guys are assholes and then they wonder why they can't get a girlfriend. I'm not saying that this is you!!! You sound like a very nice guy. The trick to getting a girlfriend is to be confident yet caring and devoted to the relationship. You have to realize that if you are not a jerk than you have the upper hand. Most guys are terrible! They wonder why girls break up with them when they never take their girlfriends anywhere nice, play videogames all day, watch porn, drink and do drugs excessively and suck at having sex. Basically do the opposite and you will have girls breaking down your door. Every girl I know would kill for a guy who respects them and respects himself too. Anyway just remember confidence, lots of compliments, and even more respect!! You will have a wife in no time at all. :) Good luck!

    I'm kinda similar and everyone keeps on telling me not to worry and 'it will happen to you eventually' or 'you just haven't met the right person'.

    I don't know how true any of that is because I'm still waiting.

    Dude what kind of college is that? That's awful! But anyways your going to a new place where no one will know you so try being a little different. I'm not saying be a different person, but open up. There's nothing for you to lose and who knows it could benefit you. And trust me, there are MANY MANY females out there.
