Is it normal to be afraid of jimmy wales?

I'm sure everybody's noticed personal appeals from Jimmy Wales on Wikipedia with his picture. Am I the only one who thinks the guy looks scary on them? The first one with him staring at you was creepy enough, but the new one (with the blue shirt) is even worse. It seriously looks like he's watching for his spaceship to come and beam him up. Is anyone else afraid of Jimmy Wales?

    You're absolutely right. He reserves a special place in hell for English people, though. On the English version of Wikipedia (which they really should spell as Wikipaedia), there's a close-up of Jimmy Wales trying to look avuncular. It's difficult to escape the notion that he's a psychopath who is deliberating the best way to steal our babies and eat them.

        I'm your only hope? You make me sound like Obi Wan Kenobi! Which I kind of like, so I'll see what I can do. On the UK version of the site, though, he's standing in front of some kind of vegetation. If he's persuaded trees to join the dark side of the force, we're really in trouble. I don't fancy taking on Larch Vader.

    I ended up here by searching for "jimmy wales looks scary" on Google after going on Wikipedia...

    I guess that does make it normal ahaha seriously though it might just be a way of coercing you into giving money to Wikipedia - just go on Wikipedia now and stare into his gaze...

    You either sh*t yourself or you pay up - your choice.

    Lmao! I think this is the funniest post on Is It Normal! I never really thought of Jimmy Wales as creepy before, but now I'll never look at this pictures the same way again!

    I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thinks he's really creepy. His stare is empty yet intense - the very worst kind of stare. And the way he smiles makes me think that he'll absolutely lose it if someone even looks at him the wrong way.
