Is it normal to be afraid of having sex?

wait till youre married. i swear its worth it and it will be something you will cherish the rest of your life. please please pleae wait ! i did and now even when i think back to it the associated feelings are just too beautiful ! plus, hopefully, if the person you marry is right fro you, youll be so close and it will be he most special thing bcs youll put each other at ease and everything will fall into place !

Depends on why you are scared...is someone pressuring you to have sex? if so wait until you are comfortable...but if you are afraid of diseases and/or becoming a teenage father then there are alot of resources including parents, guidance counselors, local clinic, friends who could help you with that...you never mentioned if it was with male or female so that may be an area you want to look into and see where the fear is coming from but fear and anxiety will kill the mood or the first encounter so be sure you are calm and ready when you do have sex for the first time...but you are normal and time is still on your side so take your time...

Well thisis how I see it. Girls that are still virgins I understand that they may be scared cause if their human is intact, it can break and bleed and hurt. For a guy his first time, the girl pretty much relies on him to do everything. If your with someone your not opened to much, your scared she will judge you for your penis size. Some guys are so stressed that their first time can last 20 seconds. So yeah I understand why you can be scared but don't worry about it.
