Well when i walk down a street sometimes theres random spineless fucks that attempt to sgout an insult at me and im honestly afraid of them and i hate going out now.
Young men can be a bunch of senseless morons when they are in groups, and for some reason, they seem to be even worse when they are in vehicles. They are scum that everyone has to put up with. I think you are normal for being bothered by it, but try not to let it deter you from enjoying a walk outside.
I live in a pretty dangerous area and have that happen a lot. The fear, I think, is normal. Don't let it control you! Maybe take some self defense classes or something. Maybe read a book about how to get past anxiety issues. I understand the feeling though. It's your instincts trying to protect you. :)
Never had anyone yelling at me from their car. But I did once encounter an idiot shouting at me for a parking space. He insulted my car and my mother. So i got out grabbed him and threw him to the ground!

I'm a guy and I've had this happen many times. I would be walking and some asshole or assholes will yell at me out their windows. I look at it this way. Their fuckin spinless morons who know they are in a car driving by. They don't want to say what they want to you to your face! Cause they trolls. That's what trolls do. Same thing as the internet. These trolls will get on a website such as this and mess with people knowing that they are safe at home behind a computer.

but yeah, if you're a girl, it's a pain. Get pepper spray or mace. I dunno if you ever maced someone before, but it's the most hilarious shit to do.. and you're legitimately defending yourself, so the cops can fuck off :)
It's not just normal, it's SAFE! Not every guy in a car is a bad guy, but read about some murderers and serial killers from the past. They always used their cars to abduct women. BE CAREFUL. BEtter to be safe than dead. It happens.
