Is it normal to be afraid of death?

Well ive been afraid ever since i was born. My parents even said when i was three i used to scream every time lightning struck and i heard thunder. Even when the T.V. freezes for just a second i think its the amber alert talking about a molester in the area (rober etc) or when the weather warn happens on the tv my heart just stopps for like 10 seconds. When i hear the sirens i totally flip out. And when that happens and my parents are gone i totally go balistic. Am i a freak?

    Its normal. I actually had to see a therapist over my fear of dying/ the end of the world. I can't be around anyone talking about it or watch any type of TV show or movie. I'm getting better about not thinking about it. It'd worse at night and when I get into a car. Good luck!
