Is it normal to be afraid of anything mutated?

Even if I know it completely harmless... I don't. I don't trust anything mutated. I don't even like to look at mutants because they freak me the hell out. Six-legged deer, snakes with two heads, hands with six fingers, etc.

I'm also afraid of deformities. Any subtractive mutations, I'm fine with. But when they start adding on appendages that shouldn't be there is when I GTFO.
