Is it normal to be afraid of....?

Im a senior in high school. There is a girl i like, i just recently started to try to talk to jer and started texting her. She is really nice when we do talk and seems to at least think im nice. For the last few days i have texted her every day and im not afraid to "flirt" while texting. But when when we are in the same class i get REALLLY nervous and never really try to talk to her alot. I usually just say hi and smile. She does the same back and it seems genuine. Is this normal!? And if not can you help me or give me some advice?! IIN

I am really disappointed in this post. I saw the heading "Is it normal to be afraid of..." and my head was aswim with things that could be logically be feared. Instead I get, "I'm a teenager afraid to ask out a teenager!" YES THAT'S NORMAL. That's what being a teenager means. Unless you're both the same girls and you're not sure she swings that way, just man up and ask her out. I am reminded of a great Sean Connery quote from 'The Rock': "Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and [bang] the prom queen."

Texting is easier than face to face relationships but if she seems awkward too, then she must feel the same. Otherwise, she'd be teasing you about your recent texts.

Ask her out by text - maybe just to hang out first of all.

    Good luck!

When this happens it is time to take the next step and ask her out on a date!! Just do it because Im sure she really wants you to ask her!

Don't they teach students to write properly anymore?

Anyway I'll reply about your single question.
Yes quite normal to be nervous in front of the person we hope to be with one day.

    Have a nice day.

Yes one word spelt (accidentally I agree) incorrect. Plus these ;)

        I'm spelt 'im'
        I spelt 'i'
        Two 'when's in a row
a lot spelt 'alot' (a pet hate of mine)

Note, I am using the word 'spelt', as per the English way not the 'spelled' US way. Although I'm not from England!

Anyway, I'm not worried, just saw a FEW issues in your passage and stated that in my reply. You're using an IPhone so be it.
Wait, don't IPhones automatically spell for you?
        Whatever.
