Is it normal to be afraid, even if the condom didn’t break?

This is probably a stupid question but I had sex for the first time a couple hours ago. We used a condom, everything went fine and it didn’t break. But I’m still kind of scared of getting pregnant.

Just the thought of some bodily function performing, screaming, crying, little brat coming along IS an uncomfortable thought.

Not to bore you with this but the subconscious does not know the difference between a thought and what is really happening.

So yeah, just the thought of something really bad CAN make one worry even when there is no basis for that fear.

One thing to lessen the worry - maybe find other ways to get off that does not involve traditional "penis in vagina" sex.

Assume the guy always is going to cum inside you, and take precautions...

A condom is a nice gesture, but many leak, break, or the guy takes it off, so he can cum inside you.

Always assume you will end up with cum inside you somehow...

“You shouldn’t be having sex if you aren’t ready to be a parent”

I don’t ever plan on being a parent. Excuse me if I don’t feel like being celibate my whole life.

its normal to be anxious your first few times. just do what you gotta do, and with time it will make you less anxious/nervous

Nothing is 100 percent effective. Like someone else said, if you're not prepared to be a parent you shouldn't be having sex. By the way, kids cost a fortune.

Normal, but I don't think you have anything to be afraid of.
