Is it normal to be able too feel a floating rib poking you?

Is it normal? a floating rib on my left side pokes me when i move and its unconfortable quite often, but my osteopath told me its normal, acted really unimpressed but seriously its kind of sharp and i cant feel it on the other side lol

has anyone else heard of this?

    Go to an MD and ask about it. Stop seeing your osteopath. Osteopathy is not evidence based medicine.

    i have never heard of something like this, describe it more. do you feel as if a bone is dislocated or something
