Is it normal to be able to move your eyes like a chameleon?

Ever since middle school I have discovered that I can move my eyes sort of like a chameleon. I can go cross-eyed, but while keeping one eye looking toward my nose I can move the other one in any direction without moving the first one at all. I can't do anything too abnormal like going cock-eyed, but I have pretty good control over my eyes. I don't know if this would have any direct applications to my abilities, but I have an astigmatism and I'm extremely nearsighted. Is this normal?

  • What would be really cool is if you changed color like a chameleon.

I can do this too. It doesn't have anything to do with your astigmatism or nearsightedness. Granted I'm nearsighted but it's very mild. But yes normal because it's like wiggling your ears. You just have mire control over certain muscles than others.
