Is it normal to be able to make friends easily, but never feel anythin

I am the type of person most people wish they could be. That is to say that im outgoing, quick to "smile", make friends easily, ect. But for as long as i can remember ive never felt much of anything for people. I force the laughs and smiles out, but ive only ever felt isolated, alone, and inferior. I'm 22yrs old, and never had sex. I just despretaly want to know if these are normal feelings. I can play anyone to my advantage, and i do, but id rather feel close to someone rather than play them for my fool. Am I normal?

  • I am pretty much the same, minus the lacking of self respect.

yes i think this is normal...you just haven't found someone you've "gelled" with or connected on a deeper level with, it seems to me that everything is surface which is fine so long as you don't hurt any one in the process.

It isn't possible "to play someone for my fool', but you can play someone for a fool. YOU FOOLISH 22 YEAR OLD VIRGIN!

This is absolutely normal, especially if you have an electric personality. People are automatically drawn to what some might say are "artificial" personality traits. I'm very similar so know I don't mean that insultingly at all.

I feel this way sometimes too. And I agree with what Thewomanizer said; you just haven't made that 'connection' with somebody yet.
