Is it normal to be able to have multiple orgasms on prozac

Wierd one this..... Right. About a year ago I was prescribed a low dose of Prozac for mild depression. Within a week or 2 of taking it, everytime I had sex with my (then) boyfriend I could literally have several orgasms very easily, one after another, it was great! I stopped taking it four months later and to my disappointment this stopped happening within a couple of weeks. Don't get me wrong, I can still have an orgasm, just not as easily and no where near as many as before.... Has anyone else heard of this?

The human brain is a funny thing. Prozac can cause weight loss in some and in other people weight gain. One of the side effects of Prozac is reduced sexual desire but everyone is different. It may just have worked for you!

I have had the same experience and I was also bitterly disappointed when the multiple orgasms stopped once the prozac was out of my system. I guess we are the lucky ones!!

Damn... I want to try that!!! Its probably because your depression and anxiety subsided and that allowed you to enjoy the sex more. Perhaps try to relax more before sex?

Given that Prozac works on the pleasure centres of the brain, it's not unlikely for it to be linked to increased ease of orgasm.

It's a bit like nicotine patches. They apparently give you very saucy dreams if worn at night. Didn't work for me, though.

Maybe the prozac was loosening your mood enough for you to relax enough to have multiple orgasms. Think of it as "setting up a good atmosphere" right before foreplay. Lol
