Is it normal to be able to have absolute control over my dream?
When I go to sleep I know what I want to dream about and then I dream about it and I know I'm in the dreams always and control what I do and what everyone else does

I love to do this it's easy and fun I like to remember all my old gf and were it could of gone
Some people can do that.
Well lucky you, my dreams are creepy every night.
I can sometimes do this if I wake up during the dream and then go back to sleep finishing said dream the way I want. Dreams were originally discovered in REM (deep sleep usually around 90 minutes after falling asleep) but researchers have since found out that some form of cognitive activity occurs throughout sleep, meaning dreams come within several minutes of sleep, which I completely agree with. For most people, recall from stage REM is better, but it is not unusual for some people to have no dream recall at all and for others to recall cognitions from other stages of sleep. You can probably control your dreams because you dream in very early stages where you're still somewhat aware and therefore even in deep REM you can dream what you want. That's my take on it anyway. I love dream research but I'm not an expert. It's cool for you though :)
