i heard about a girl that hates black people but she is almost always getting a tan. she is the only one in her family that is like this. (i know her family, i just dont know her. im mixed so she refuses to meet me.) i was just curious. so, is this normal?
Race is NOT the same as skincolor. For example, diffferent races respond differently to certain medicine. That's simply a fact, and it implies race is indeed MORE than just skincolor.
However, I nonetheless think racism is absurd.
A fine example of professional people in professional buildings being not what they seem. Careful when you meet people, the gentleman holding the doors for old people could be an Internet predator (true story). And nurses helping you while you're sick could talk shit about you on the Internet ;)

But all new yorkers are assholes...so in essence, any insanity you see in the ER can be attributed to bipedal primates being squeezed into tight confines together and being forced to pay (with a lot of hustling) high prices for the seeming privilege of experiencing it. As to the OP's question. Your stupid bitch of an acquaintance sounds too incomprehensibly stupid to actually hold bigotry in her cancerous little heart. I suspect it's just another way for her to play out fantasies of elitism since she feels secretly slighted for being given the role of "a dumb cunt" in this life.
How do I know this? Intellectual theorists of Color have long speculated and noted the tendency of people who call themselves "white" to appropriate other cultures for the purpose of filling the void in their souls caused by their need to assert themselves as part of an amorphous elitist mass. Tanning (to look like you have a healthy "glow" [read: brown skin]) is on that list.

Racism isn't about the colour of someone's skin. It's about irrational hatred, fear, and some very insecure people who should really know better and yet don't.
