Is it normal to be a tall girl?

I like tall girls! With your height and weight you should be working as a model, so I suggest you leave where you live and head to a big city.

I'm the opposite, I'm 5'1" and always wished I was heaps taller. I've grown to accept my height and understand there's pros and cons to all heights. I've had guys tell me I'm too short to date and that they prefer taller women so it's not just shorter girls they like. Plenty of guys commented and said they like tall girls. I agree with the model thing, you are a perfect height!
Be proud of who you are and if a guy says he can't date you because your too tall then that's his loss, you deserve better anyway!

I know what you mean. I am 5'10" and my daughter is 5'11". I used to get asked if the weather was fine up there. I now live in a community where people are maybe 5'5". And that's the men. my daughter is moving to another state for school. She complains that she can't find a tall man. And if she does, he tells her he likes itty bitty girls. She used to cry alot. I would talk to her and try to get her self esteem back up. I think I did a good job on that. She walks proudly. She is moving to another state for school and she is happy there. She says there are alot of taller men there. My advise, those people that make those idiotic comments are missing a sensativity chip. Walk proud. Head up. BE PROUD of who you are.

I grew up always being taller than everyone. I'm 5'10. i know what your going through. exactly. I still get called names and stuff. you learn to laugh it off and keep your head held high. there are some tall boys but it's hard to find good ones. my advice, don't listen to what others have to say your perfect just the way you are and that one special boy will come around. but I know being tall does stink sometimes but just look at the good sides about it- modeling, and many others. also Taylor swift is around the same height as us, it's just good to know there's someone my own age whose tall and she's really pretty and famous.

9/10 tall girls I've known will ONLY date a guy the same height or taller. Some would make an exception for cases (like guys with money lol) but no more than 1 inch or so..

Growing up I had to sit in the back of the class so the shorter kids could see. Well, I couldn't see because I was WAY back there. It sucked. The church I used to go to in my area are all Philipinos'. My family towered over them. But i refused to sit in the back anymore. I got so sick of the jokes, comments. But I just smiled and said I was damn proud of it. After a while they just stopped.

Your comment about your daughter reminded me of something a guy told me a while ago. It's true that even tall guys like small girls. A guy told me that guys like small girls cause they look "defenceless" where as a tall girl like me looks in charge and able to care for myself haha. It was somewhat insulting to know that men want me to be a kitten that they can take care of. Or that they assume I'm a scary bitch just because I am tall.

Also, I'm only insecure with my height when it seems like I'm the tallest in a room. It's just...scary. And when I wear high heels I feel superrrr uncomfortable because that puts me over 6'
