Is it normal to be a sex addict?

Don´t panic. That isn´t much at all. People are different and have different levels of sex drive. To be honest, 6 times a week would be a kind of sexual starvation for me and my boyfriend because we have sex at least twice a day EVERY day - including days when I am on my period, when one of us is ill, etc. I mean, period, stress, illness, headache, toothache, fatigue or other kinds of problems can´t stop us from having sex. I don´t see anything wrong with it. However, the problem may be if you and your partner are not compatible when it comes to sexual frequency. It is not an easy situation and it´s completely understandable that you feel rejected. I had the same feelings when I was in similar situation. Fortunately, I am lucky because I met my partner who is compatible with me in this respect. We have been together for more than five years and I must say it´s the best period of my life - i.e. what are the side effect of having sex a lot for a person who wants it? My answer is clear - you will never want to change it.
All in all, I would say that:
Is it normal to have sex 6 times a week? YES
Is it normal to feel rejected when your partner doesn´t want to have sex with you? YES
Is it normal to call that sex addiction? NO
Is it dangerous? NO

I too am somewhat of a sex addict, although I don't like that term, because it sounds like a negative thing. Sex is just something that humans do, and how much they do it is their perogative. I too have had sex with several different women before settling with one. It's not anyone else's place to say how much sex one can have and how much is too much or too little. My partner and I have sex regularly, and we don't want kids, that's why I got a vasectomy.
Although I hope you treat her right, and not get abusive or forceful. While there's nothing wrong with a lot of sex, don't ever force a girl to have sex when she doesn't want to. And don't feel rejected when she doesn't want to. Stress and fatigue just don't get people in the mood, so sometimes you just have to wait. If you wait a little while, it will be more enjoyable when you two are both in the mood.

I'd hardly call that addiction. My boyfriend and I sometimes have sex multiple times a day, and we don't take a break for the bleedy time. :P Just use a dark colored towel or something, haha.

I'd say you're fine, just enjoy, and don't let it get to you that she's not always in the mood. It kinda sucks, but it doesn't mean anything against you. :)

Sex feels better for them, and the lube is greattttt!!! You should tap that. She's also less likely to get pregnant when she's on her period ;) Just a suggestion! It's really not that gross. If it's not that kind of relationship, wills he allow you to while she watches you? She would probably like that more than she thinks. It's effortless for her, pleasurable for you, and makes her horny for later if it gets her going! Either way, your sex life sounds pretty normal. You aren't that odd :P
